Top 5 Art and Design Android Apps in Italy, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the art and design category on the Android platform in Italy saw notable trends among its top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor from Canva showed a strong presence, with weekly downloads rising significantly from around 30K in early July to over 45K by the end of September. Revenue fluctuated, starting at approximately $23K and peaking at about $27K mid-September. The app's active user base also expanded, growing from approximately 409K in early July to over 521K by the end of the quarter.

AI Photo Editor: BG Remover faced a declining trend in downloads, falling from about 14.5K to just 389 weekly downloads by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from over 8K to around 5.2K. Revenue was negligible throughout the quarter.

ibis Paint X by ibis inc. maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, hovering around $50, with a slight peak at $68 in early September. Downloads initially spiked to 8.6K in late July but gradually decreased to around 4.8K by the end of September. Active users experienced a slight dip, closing the quarter at approximately 150K.

AR Drawing - Sketchar App experienced varying download numbers, starting at about 8.9K and ending at 3K by the end of the quarter. Active users, however, showed a positive trend, growing from around 13K to 26.8K. Revenue was minimal, with no significant peaks throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Sketchbook saw consistent weekly downloads, ending the quarter at 4.3K. The app's active user base fluctuated slightly but ended with a slight increase to approximately 41K. Revenue remained steady, averaging around $20 weekly.
